Important Updates for Telephone Banking Users

Starting July 14, all Telephone Banking users will be required to re-register to continue using this service.

This update is part of our commitment to enhancing your security and providing improved service.

What you need to do:
To access telephone banking, dial 575-647-4500 and choose option 1 or 1-888-590-8711

Step 1: You’ll be greeted by our automated system. “Thank you for calling White Sands Federal Credit Union.”

Step 2: Choose your Language, “for English press 1, Spanish press 2.” You’ll be prompted with: “Let’s log you in.”

Step 3: “Please say or enter your White Sands Federal Credit Union Member ID.”

Step 4: “If this is your first time calling, and you do not have a pin,” Say, “I don’t have one, or press the star * key.

Step 5: “To register and set up your pin, Enter your full SSN.” Once repeated back to you, say “yes” or press 1.

Step 6: “Tell me your date of birth, you can speak it or enter it.” (MM/DD/YYYY) Once repeated back to you, say “yes” or press 1.

Step 7: Create your pin. “Say or enter your new 6-digit pin using your telephone keypad.” “To confirm your pin change, please say or enter your 6-digit pin again.”

Once your PIN is set, you’ll be able to log in at any time using your Member ID and PIN.

How to Transfer Funds Between Accounts

To transfer funds to another member's account, please follow these steps:

Savings Suffix: 00 | Debit (Checking) Suffix: 23 | Money Market Suffix: 27

  1. Enter the Full Account Number with Product Code (SFX):

    • Combine the member's account number with the appropriate product code (SFX) for the account you’re transferring to.

    • Example:

      • If the account number is 111111 and you're transferring to a checking account (SFX 23), enter:
        111111233

      • For savings accounts, use SFX 00.
        Example: 11111100

  2. Enter the First Three Letters of the Member’s Last Name:

    • Type the first three letters of the recipient's last name.

      • Example: For the last name Tedes, enter: TED

  3. Corresponding Numeric Entry:

    • The system may request the numeric equivalent of those three letters.

      • Using the example above, TED would be entered as: 833

    • Important Note: If any of the first three letters of the last name include a Q or Z, substitute that letter with the number 1.
