System Upgrade Coming April 20, 2026

Our system upgrade is officially underway! White Sands FCU is upgrading our core banking software to enhance security, improve performance, and bring you a more modern and reliable banking experience.

This is a major project, and while much of the work is happening behind the scenes, there are a few important things members can do now to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

All WSFCU branch drive-thrus will be closed on Saturday, April 18, 2026


What Members Should Do Now

  • Verify your contact information
    Please ensure your email address, phone number, and mailing address are up to date so you receive important updates, reminders, and instructions.

  • Plan ahead
    Visa debit cards may be impacted from Friday, April 17, through Monday, April 20. Please plan ahead and have an alternate form of payment available, or withdraw cash in advance. WSFCU Credit Cards will not be affected.

What to Expect

  • Most improvements will not affect you

  • Any temporary service limitations will be communicated clearly and ahead of time.

  • Additional instructions and reminders will be shared as we know more information.

What Is Changing

  • Online Banking - As part of the system upgrade, Online Banking will be changing. The new platform will have an updated look and feel as well as enhanced features and capabilities. Learn More Here

Important info for Zelle Users

Zelle® will no longer be available through White Sands FCU  as of April 13, 2026. Registered accounts will be released on April 13, 2026, to allow enrollment at another institution.

 

Important Dates for Bill Pay Users

Monday, April 13th: Bill Pay access will be disabled on this day, but scheduled payments made through April 17th will still be processed.


What Is Not Changing

  • Debit Cards and PINs will remain the same

  • Account Numbers will not change

  • Any Automatic transfers between WSFCU accounts will not be affected.

    • Ensures the credit union can continue to grow and support members with technology that can expand with their needs.

    • Makes future upgrades easier and less disruptive.

  • All WSFCU branches will be closed on Saturday, April 17th and will reopen on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 9 am

  • No, Your account number will not change.

  • Online & Mobile Banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, April 17, and will resume Monday, April 20, at noon, after you re-register.

  • Schedule any upcoming bill payments before Monday, April 13, 2026.

    Bill Pay will become inactive as of April 13, 2025. Any recurring payments made after April 17 will not be processed. Please review all your payments before this date.
