Complete Systems Upgrade

White Sands FCU is excited to announce that we are upgrading our system and online banking.

We will be upgrading our core system and online banking to continue delivering convenient, secure, and reliable banking services. This upgrade will enhance technology, improve performance, and help us better support your financial needs now and in the future. A core system conversion is a major project, and our team has been working hard to prepare. While most updates will happen behind the scenes, some services may be briefly limited. We will keep you informed every step of the way.

During this transition, there may be brief periods when some services are limited. We will share more details and reminders as we get closer, and we encourage you to ensure your contact information is up to date so you don’t miss any updates.

Common FAQs

  • Our current core system has reached its capacity, and the new platform will give us the flexibility to grow and innovate. It will allow us to offer new services, enhance mobile banking, and provide improved account management tools for our memberstem description

  • As we work to finish the system and Online Banking upgrade, there will be some limited down time to be aware of:

    • All branches (including drive through) will close at 3:00pm on Friday, April 17

    • All branches will be closed on Saturday, April 18

    • All branches and the Call Center will be closed on Monday, April 20th

    • Branches and Drive-Throughs will open at 9:00am on Tuesday, April 21

    • Online and the mobile banking app will be unavailable from 3:00pm on Friday, April 17 through mid-morning on Tuesday, April 21

    Please make sure to complete any transfers or payments prior to 3:00pm on Friday, April 17th Your debit card will continue to work, though transaction amounts may be limited.  For extra safety, please plan to have alternate access to funds during the upgrade, such as a credit card or cash.

  • Yes. We have taken steps to ensure that debit cards will work and that transactions will process. Balances may not reflect the actual amount.

Digital Banking and Mobile App

  • Yes. All members will need to re-register in our new online banking platform and download the new mobile app.

  • Yes, you can have more than one login per account. For example, a primary and a joint owner can each access the same account using their own username and password.
