April is Credit Union Youth Month
April is Youth Month, and we are celebrating! Now’s the perfect time to help your children develop smart money habits.
Children––just like adults––will be much more motivated to save their money if they have a specific goal in mind. Help them set their sights on something to save up for, remind them of their goal whenever they get an inclination to spend, and watch them as they experience the thrill of achieving an accomplishment!
New Account Cash Drawing
Open a new Youth membership account at WSFCU during the month of April with a minimum $15 deposit, and the youth will be entered into a cash drawing to win a cash deposit to your account.
Existing Youth Accounts
Make a deposit of $10 or more in April into a youth account and gain an entry to win a cash prize! The prize will be deposited into the account.
Youth Month Coloring Contest
We will be holding a coloring contest during the month of April. At the end of the month, two winners will be chosen from the submitted entries: one in the age group of 5 years or younger and one from the age group of 6-12 years old. The selected winners will receive a cash deposit to their WSFCU account!
