White Sands FCU is happy to provide you with an easy, secure, and private way to pay for your everyday items in stores, in apps, and on the web using your mobile device. Now, you can make purchases with the tap of your finger in a simple, secure and convenient way.

Add your White Sands FCU Visa® debit card and pay at participating retailers. Many devices also support biometric security options like fingerprint technology or facial recognition to authorize transactions.

♦ Safe  Secure and Private
Each transaction uses a one-time, unique virtual validation that does not use your actual card number.  Merchants receive a unique, one-time code that’s only good for that purchase. Keeping your information safe from data breaches.

♦ Convenient
No need to use your physical card.  Use your device to pay anywhere you see the contact wireless pay symbol. Look for one of these symbols at checkout.

Now you can enjoy all the benefits of your White Sands FCU Visa® using Apple Pay™.

  • On iPhone,® open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign. From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • On Apple Watch,™ open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay,” then tap “Add  Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
  • On iPad,® go into Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay,” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.

To pay within stores, hold iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID.™ On Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch up to the contactless reader. To pay within apps on iPhone and iPad, select Apple Pay as the payment method and place your finger on Touch ID.

Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 and later and Apple Watch in stores, and iPhone 6 and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3 and later within apps. For a list of compatible Apple Pay devices click here 

Samsung Pay lets you get the great features, rewards, and benefits of your favorite Visa.

To get started:

  • Make sure your compatible Samsung device* is updated with Samsung Pay
  • Take a picture of your White Sands Visa® with your device’s camera
  • Secure it with your fingerprint and backup PIN and you’ll be ready to go

Just add your White Sands FCU Visa®  debit card to your Samsung digital wallet, and you’ll be able to pay in stores or in apps with a simple touch of your finger. You’ll enjoy extra security, and added convenience.

Now the things you love about your favorite Visa® card are right on your Android phone. Getting started with Google Pay is simple:

  • Download the Google Pay app
  • Add your White Sands FCU Visa® card — it's as simple as snapping a photo
  • Pay confidently at millions of places around the world.

Google Pay works anywhere contactless payments are accepted. Just unlock your phone and hold it near the terminal. You don’t even need to open the app.

Q: What is Digital Wallets?

A:  A virtual wallet, which offers a simple and secure way to pay with your debit and credit cards with Apple, Samsung and Android devices. Mobile Pay enables you to pay at the point of sale with your cell phone or watch.

Q: How do I get a Digital Wallet?

A: You can visit your phone's App Store/Google Play/Galaxy store and download the corresponded “Pay” application belonging to your mobile device.

Q: Is it easy to use and set up?

A:  Yes! Be sure your supported device has been updated to its latest version. To add a credit or debit card on your device, open Wallet and click on “Add Debit Card.” You are able to pay securely with a single touch at hundreds of thousands of stores.

Q: Does WSFCU charge for using any of the Digital Wallets?

A: No. White Sands Credit Union does not charge for utilizing this service.

Q: Are Digital Wallets safe and secure?

A: Yes! All digital wallets can be safer than using a traditional credit or debit card. Your card in your mobile wallet is protected by a Touch ID or your device Passcode. For your security, when you make a purchase using your digital wallet, you must enter either of these. As an added protection, your card number and identity aren’t shared with the merchant, and your actual card numbers aren’t stored on your device or on your mobile servers. A unique digital code is created specifically for your device. We strongly recommend you always secure your mobile device(s) with a password or PIN.

Q: How will I know the payment went through?

A: You will hear a small sound or feel a vibration to indicate that the payment was successful, as well as a paid message on your device’s display.

Q: Where can I use my Digital Wallet?

A: Look for Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay logos at checkout. More and more merchants are accepting digital wallets; however, we advise you to continue to carry your physical card in order to use them where they are not accepted.

Q: Will my device show my transactions?

A: Yes. You will be able to see your last transactions when you open your digital wallet. If you have Card Valet download and your card registered you will get a notification, only if you have your alerts set up.

Q: Can I continue to use my plastic debit cards?

A: Yes. If you choose, your plastic debit card will work as normal.
